House of Flavor - OOH
McCormick ventures into Decentraland, a blockchain-powered area of the Metaverse, to launch "House of Flavor by McCormick". This immersive live virtual destination will allow fans to experience flavor in a world without taste allowing users to explore McCormick's flavor of the year, discover Vietnamese Cajun dishes, earn one of three unique wearables, and interact with content featuring some of the chefs who inspired this year's Flavor of the Year.
Driving traffic to the experience is one thing, but how do you capture the attention of passing traffic in a world that doesn’t openly welcome brands?
By partnering with Gabe Weis, famed NFT artist who recently launched The Stoics, a 5,000-piece NFT collection that sold out in minutes, we eloquently transitioned our brand into the Web3 space.
We first paired 4 of his famed Stoics with a custom hand drawn font. Then cubism shape language and bold colors were added to really push the work forward. But we didn’t stop there, by utilizing a digital-type texture map, the billboard really came to life.
